My daughter wanted a back to school party, so we decided to go with a tea party. Then she decided she wanted a “princess” themed tea party. All the girls wore their tiaras with their white gloves. It was adorable!

I found my inner domestic self and I made some really cute sandwiches from a Pink Princess Cookbook my daughter found at the library. See the cute little heart shaped raspberry sandwiches?  I cut the cucumber sandwiches with a butterfly cookie cutter. My husband rolled the ham very nicely, in addition to making some great pink iced sugar cookies.

What a wonderful end to a really hard week. The look on her face as she enjoyed her party with her friends was worth the work.

Yeah! I think it was just as much fun for my husband and I getting everything ready. He loves baking so the cookies were great. You can see the cookies at my personal blog too. www.shoegirlcorner.blogspot.com
