Jan Bulawa, owner of Sasha's Suds `n Duds on Sunset Boulevard, has small business in her blood. With her father as inspiration, Jan has created her own personal entrepreneurial heaven, where the neighborhood gathers, friendships are made and the furry pups play. “Customers stop by just to chat, visit and buy fun items for their dogs.” Her key ingredient is “the sense of community; the success just naturally follows.” Jan’s words of wisdom? “Experience has taught me to never look back and dwell on the past, but to use those experiences to learn something new and useful,” she explains. Sasha’s, named after her beloved dog, is a joyful place for self-service doggy washing, decadent puppy treats, adorable K9 attire, couture-inspired toys or simply a furry cuddle. So, stop by!
