The Laugh Out Loud Issue

Thunder is the sound of the bowling alley in heaven. French kissing makes babies. Orphanages are a lot like cabbage patches. Pizza is a well-rounded meal. Turning around seven times in the dark chanting “Bloody Mary” causes a torturous fate. Blowing out all the birthday candles at once grants a wish. What do all of these statements have in common? At some point, I believed every one of them! In the spirit of April Fools Day, lets bring absurdity back into style, make funny fashionable and smiles stylish. In the words of the French philosopher Voltaire, “God is a comedian, playing to an audience that is too afraid to laugh.” I say, “Let’s prove him wrong!” Simply, toss that serious face out the window and borrow some inspiration from your favorite emoticon (a.k.a. smiley face), tell a knock-knock joke or find the “silly” in your life.
