Back to Life, Back to Reality

Loida Casares Ruiz

Remember that old En Vogue song? It was a nice break, even though it was work related.

I love San Antonio. It is such a great city. It was all festive because it was the beginning of Fiesta. The people even decorate their homes for the festivities.

I also love the Riverwalk. There are so many great restaurants and bars down there. I just wanted to hang out there the whole time, but  unfortunately I did have to work too.

I also saw the King William District for the first time. What lovely homes! I wish I could afford one that was $875,000! What a gem! What a dream!

But I’m back to life and back to reality. The kids were glad to see us but of course they didn’t miss a beat and were their usual selves right away.

Tomorrow it’s back to work and back to the grind. I’ll try to write something with more substance.
