Ellen Elam’s life is a canvas.

“I guess I am an artist wannabe. I love it, and I may make time for it in another life.” For Ellen, art is a passion, but her heart is captivated by the richness of experience and relationships.  After her first year in college, she journeyed across the pond, completed a degree in marketing and solidified her creative medium, LIFE. Today, Ellen and her husband Drew have succeeded in creating a colorful mosaic of family, friends, community, adventure and business. Whether Ellen is being a mother to her 2 and 1/2-year-old son, developing unique incentive projects through E2 Specialty, teaching an adult to read at Literacy Advance of Houston, traveling the globe, painting, reading, writing or just relaxing in her home surrounded by the art of others, Ellen has found beauty and creativity in all the details. “They make me smile. And, often I can be someone or somewhere else for brief periods.”
