Like playing an Olympic-level game of hide and go seek, sometimes finding inspiration seems impossible… even if you are armed with the map. But, as the experts ramble on about how and where to find it, the truth is that X rarely marks the spot.

Sure, it would be easier if your muse were on call 24-7; offering instant gratification like the neighborhood Whataburger. But if  inspiration could be mass produced and made to order, your next big life adventure would be worth about 99 cents with the optional upgrade to biggie sized. Hmmmm… no, thanks!

So, if your inspiration tank is on empty this holiday season, stop looking at your smart phone waiting for the “ah ha” moment to arrive. Detox your thoughts. Organic and all natural, the only RX you need is a quiet mind and time. Relax, have some fun and take a staycation from the day-to-day. Don’t worry, inspiration is never far behind. It’s just that sometimes; you have to put out the fire before you see the spark.
