A native of SF, I moved to Houston August 2006. I'm The eldest of three sisters and a brother. LIFE...WHAT THE HELL.......

People......my picture is coming because that generic picture provided by skirt just doesn’t seem to capture my modelesque cheek bones (or skin hues for that matter, LOL!!) It’s been three weeks since I’ve blogged and I’m like where did the time go???!!! Ok, according to my last blog I should be sharing with you about creating win-win business relationships, but that’ll have to wait because I’m moved to speak otherwise. I want to talk about the importance of doing what you feel. It’s such a generic statement, but we ALL experience it. For us working women, don’t you ever get a feeling that it’s time to take vacation, time to have some me time, even in the middle of the day we know when it’s time to take a break. Maybe you get a feeling that you should change careers, move to another city, reach out to someone, whatever it is it’s the feeling that I’m talking about. We all get ‘the feeling’ (whether through a constant passing thought or repeated feelings about something) however it’s difficult sometimes to obey the feeling due to current realities, fear, or the requirement take action. I don’t want to get all preachy, I simply want people to acknowledge their feelings and to act accordingly, in whatever way that is fitting for them. I moved to Houston because I had a strong recurring feeling that I needed to move from my home of San Francisco and somehow everything just lined up. So obey your inner person and do the dam thing!
