About Me

After stumbling through several career paths (illustration, fashion design, natural medicine), I’ve decided I want to write. I currently take creative writing classes at a community college in Phoenix, Arizona, in preparation for applying to an MFA program. I should be madly devoting time to crafting pieces for my application portfolio, but I’ve instead found abundant opportunities to procrastinate, such as gardening, raising chickens, blogging, thrift-store shopping, and that old standby, reading and eating voraciously, usually at the same time.
