Never Judge a Book by Its Cover Is So Passe

My love of the moment comes in the form of a 601 paged paper-back monster known as the 2002 Centennial Edition of John Steinbeck’s “East of Eden.”   And while content ultimately rules, I can’t help but be drawn to the gorgeous antiqued detailing on the cover and the uneven parchment pages.   It makes a gal like myself, who is always drawn into the visual aesthetics of life, happy to tote around a book so big every single day.

Orange Dulce by Mighty Leaf

This is a delicious blend of black tea, orange, vanilla, and jasmine.  I began to keep tea at my office and find it to be a very delightful moment in my work day.

There’s something strangely sensual about eating raw fish...

Tea For Dessert?

Celestial Seasonings Sweet Coconut Thai Chai has a massive name but is well worth the few dollars I slam down to purchase this weekly. I’ve never been a Chai drinker but love the smoothness of this tea and the subtle notes of spice and coconut. With a little bit of Splenda, it’s decadent enough to enjoy instead of dessert.
